Thermalbad Wiesenbad is a small village in the heart of the Ore Mountains, located in an arboreous surrounding of the romantic and beautiful Zschopautal, which amounts to 435 meters above sea level. Since the impoundment of the first thermal spring in 1501, the cure and baths business has had its tradition for more than 500 years.
Being combined with individuality and holistic therapy, healthiness has its manifold sources in nature: The natural thermal water in combination with the curing effects of regional herbs and the attested purity of our air.
Today, Thermalbad Wiesenbad is an officially recognized sanitarium. The health center Miriquidi consisting of the sanitarium, thermal bath, “Heilkräuterzentrum” (thermal medicinal herbs center), “Wandelhalle” and “Kurmittelhaus” (therapy and wellness building) is the first choice for rehabilitation, prevention, health vacation and wellness in the Ore Mountains. The synthesis of the historical resort complex and the modern architecture is characteristic for the amply refurbished and partly newly built sanitarium. The beautiful park of the sanatorium, which was created in this century, is not only an oasis of silence and relaxation, but also the point of departure for a challenging bike, hiking and Nordic walking course.
